Eri Agriou creates mixed media art, as she combines printmaking and painting techniques.
Her art is mainly anthropocentric. In her recent work she explores the concepts of life and death, fate and human will, and the soul.
Using a variety of media she depicts the oppositions of life and the path to self-realization. She uses mostly natural materials such as paper, thread, gauze and fabric; materials that are related to the fragility of human nature.
Her art has influences from Byzantine iconography and Greek mythology.
