Eri Agriou is a mixed media artist whose practice blends printmaking with textile techniques such as stitching, weaving, and embroidery. Her work is rooted in an anthropocentric approach, with a strong emphasis on materiality and the tactile quality of handmade processes.

Drawing on themes of ancestry, memory, absence, and loss, she creates intimate pieces using natural materials like paper, thread, gauze, and fabric — elements she associates with the fragility and resilience of human nature. Each work becomes a quiet act of remembrance, a gesture toward those who came before us and are no longer here.

Through her art, she seeks to create a connection between the viewer and their personal history, between past and present, and through both the physical sense of touch and the emotions her work evokes.
